Expanding Our Mansion

Great progress was made today in the dining room, where we're adding a whopping 39 square feet.

Dining Room

The extended dining room is taking shape. Today they framed in the exterior walls and placed the old sliding glass door in position. Note that there's now a window in the east wall of the dining room.

Kitchen

Back in the kitchen, plumbers Greg and Chris finished up the rough plumbing. They installed water lines for the bar sink and refrigerator, installed sewer vents for both sinks, patched the radiant heat pipes, installed a gas line out to the island, and filled in the hole under the bar sink.
